Mission
Siemens Healthineers currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Account Manager /Application Specialist (whole Egypt territories) to join our growing Point of Care (POC) Diagnostics team. The portfolio encompasses blood gas, diabetes, urinalysis and haemostasis. The role is based out of our Cairo office and reports directly to the Country Business Lead - POC Diagnostics.
The objective of the role of Account Manager / Application Specialist role is to build strong, enduring partnerships with our customers and implement customer specific strategies. You will also provide product portfolio technical expertise to assist in instrument installation, training and ongoing technical support to customers in your region.
What are my responsibilities?
Undertake scheduled product training, sales education programs and product demonstrationsProvide reactive customer support both on-site and on the phone to ensure maximum instrumentation uptime and customer satisfactionTraining of customers onsite as required, both as part of new installations and for existing customersWorking collaboratively with sales, marketing and engineering to achieve installations to agreed timelines and quality by performing relevant instrument updates/upgradesProviding technical information to the customer to provide better customer and patient outcomes in conjunction with the marketing team and product specialistLeading sales strategies for the allocated geographical area .Completing and presenting proposals and quotations for customers as requiredDevelop and follow a compliant Customer Call Plan
What do I need to qualify for this job?Bachelor Degree in Laboratory Medicine, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent qualifications in Science or Applied ScienceFirst work experience in sales function with channel relationship experience, preferably in the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory environment.Solid understanding of quality processes required within a POC setting is advantageousHigh desire to learn the skills to actively contribute to sales and maintain customer accounts as well.You have a strong customer focus and have excellent interpersonal and team skills.Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate resources and work with cross-functional teams.Ability to plan and execute sales activities with minimal direct supervision.Effective interpersonal and listening skills, communication skills.Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.Accurate forecasting ability combined with excellent reporting skills.Detail-orientation, analytical approach, strong prioritization skills.Must have highest degree of professionalism and ethics.Must be willing to travel up to 50 - 70% of the time.Fluent in English and Arabic
