What are my responsibilities?

Defines and ensures implementation of sales strategy, organization, policies and guidelines, in line with the overall business strategy of the assigned organizational unit. Ensures accomplishment of strategic market research and key customer surveys to identify respective strategic business opportunities. Defines key markets respectively identification and exploitation of key customers Drives sales excellence and monitors vertical sales team to meet the annual budget and increase sales productivity. Ensures effective vertical sales setup capitalizing synergies in collaboration within and across Siemens units (i.e. aligned setups, aligned processes, aligned incentive schemes, etc.) Ensures an effective vertical sales organization and infrastructure to foster cooperation with other parts of the value chain (i.e. Marketing & Communication, Product Management, etc.) In charge of related budget plans and sets and monitors achievement of respective targets. Acts as ultimate point of escalation to solve mission critical issues and problems. Heads overall assigned sales organization and leads all related management and staff. Ensures successful implementation of Sales Strategy respective go to market for Siemens Digitalization Ensures successful implementation of BU specific goes to market & sales strategies cross selling.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

A minimum of 10 years’ experience across different industries is required. Extensive Sales experience is prerequisite Extensive Management experience in leading team of diverse teams, disciplinary and functionally. Knowledge in Siemens automation and drives products (DF/ PD portfolio) is mandatory. Good understanding of future trends like Industry 4.0 principles/ Digitalization. University Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, automation, computer engineering or equivalent work experience. Should be proficient in English (verbal & written). Must be prepared to travel both nationally and internationally. Good communication skills, team player, ability to energize. Critical Thinking: Thoughtful process of analyzing data and problem solving data to reach a well-reasoned solution.
