Software Manager – Augmented Visibility
Job Description
Valeo Visibility Product Group is focused on enhancing driver’s vision of the road in all cases of weather or ambient lighting conditions, and enhancing car interior and exterior lighting. Visibility department in Valeo Egypt consists of two main areas, Lighting Systems and Wipers Systems.

It Is Responsible For The Software Of Valeo Lighting Products
Valeo Lighting Systems VLS Software Research and Development centre serves 8 production sites in 5 different countries.

Core Technologies: Power Management (DC/DC converters, Linear Control) DC Motor Management Matrix LED, OLED and Multi Color LED Control Laser light Management Touchpad managementVLS Software Team Activities:
Software development in VLS realizes the main challenge of Automotive Embedded systems by maximizing the Software contribution in Power Electronics and Thermal management to build innovative and intelligent lighting solutions. VLS engineers are exposed to a variety of activities (design, coding, integration, and testing) which hone their skills.
Low Layer Microcontroller drivers (high end single/multi core processors) On-Chip driver management (Closed-loop, PID & fuzzy logic controllers) Real Time Operating System Autosar & Internal Standard Software Architectures Manual coding and Model based Software applications Automatic Testing Techniques for Software and System levels A-Spice and ISO Safety compliance Agile project management Methodology Monitor individual employees Performance Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum Performance levels and career development. Review and approve employees pre-rating, bonus, & salary for the whole team. Responsible for team R&D efficiency plans, follow up & execution. Enabler and contributor for reuse & standardization activities. Perform appraisals interviews for direct reports and plan career path development. Follow up on the projects as per defined projects reporting mechanisms. Review time sheets & attendance and employees issues and concerns. Responsible for handling customer escalations. Train and coach team members. Follow up with Team members on open actions Define reuse strategy and process tailoring Supervise Product Line action plans. Work on upcoming business activity types at Product Line Level. Business development with product line.B.Sc. in Communication, Mechatronics, Electronics or Computer Engineering. At least 9-12 years of relevant experience. Good command of English language is a must. Knowledge of French or German is a plus
