As a Sales Specialist, you will be a part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division and Drives and Controls (BU) based in Cairo, responsible for Performing direct Sales and Marketing activities to maintain and develop sales. ABB is the World leader in Robotics and Motion (RM) division offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.
Tasks Your Tasks as a Sales Specialist will include the following: Sell RMDR offering portfolio in Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Oil and Gas. (COG) Develop and maintain new sales opportunities and customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer problems. Partner with Local BU team members for assigned customers, and work with external channels in order to maximize orders intake and increase penetration in COG Segment. External-in market orientation approach to continuously provide inputs to help in Price and Product positioning in the market. Prepare annual Sales Plans supported by Solid Sales Pipeline targeting the increase of ABB market share in F&B Segment. Increase sales volumes in COG with strong focus on Business Mix. Mapping existing potential and define player map to continuously generate new business opportunities. Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full RMDR offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive and superior customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale. Develop and maintain strong relationship with End Users and EPCs playing in the COG field. Drive / Implement aggressive sales force across assigned accounts and customers. Cross Divisional Collaboration. Take Customer Loyalty to new levels establishing long term strong relationships via professional sales and delivery. Set winning strategies, margins and prices in cooperation with Tendering and Quotation according to BU strategy. Work closely and proactively with customers during budgeting and CAPEX planning phase to differentiate RMDR. Target large scale projects in COG and combined drives offering. Ensure expanding coverage in areas and customers where DMDR has no presence. Competition Analysis to sharpen ABB Sales Force and enhance our competitive edge in the market. Tune case by case sales approach and pricing strategies in line with opportunities mapping to keep RMDR well positioned to win. Define, record and archive account and segment plans for assigned accounts including player maps, contacts, risks, opportunities. Challenges and future investment plans. Match RMDR offering Portfolio with customer requirements and ensure optimum services are proposed. Prepare accurate and optimized cost calculations in favor of securing strategic sales leads. Close and continuous follow up with customers and supporting functions to smooth up execution. Step in when needed to ensure cash collection. Achieve OR Target with targeted GM% coupled with significant contribution to the fulfillment of the rest of BU KPI’s. Improve Net Promoter Score (NPS) rating at customer base. Position ABB at Major Accounts. Following rigorously with zero tolerance ABB Business Ethics and Guidelines.
Requirements To be considered for this position, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering with minimum 2-3 years in handling COG customers with proven successful sales records with fluency in both spoken and written English and Arabic. French would be added advantage.
