Senior Structural Design Engineer for Almnabr

Hiring for a consultancy office in Nasr City, the following:
Senior Structural Design Engineer (5~8 yrs of experience)
Responsibilities
• Assists other engineers in preparing project designs using the latest codes and standards.
• Performs structural design and calculations as directed by Team Leader.
• Use structural design software, and prepare manual calculation as required.
• Understand the limitations of software and can verify the software output.
• Prepare reports, presentation as directed by senior engineers.
• Requests drafting staff to produce finished drawings from sketches and/or prepare structural drawings, sketches to a high standard.
• Follow company standards and procedures including design and checking.
• Performs other duties of similar nature and level as assigned.
• Exhibits a willingness to assist mid and senior level engineers.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a structural engineer in a consultancy firm.
• Experience in Revit is a must.
• Experience in Gulf Area Projects is a must.
• Full awareness of all design related software programs.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Has a strong theoretical engineering knowledge.
• Open-minded with the ability to follow instructions and work under close supervision.
• Able to work in a Team working environment.
• Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Is highly motivated and is willing to learn and meet new challenges.
• Is flexible in an environment with frequent changes in deadlines.
Location : Nasr City.
