Overall Purpose Of The Role Onsite supervision of MEP activities of signalling buildings between Beni-Suef and Asyut as part of the modernization of signaling system on Cairo-High Dam corridor and monitoring their progress along the project execution phase on daily basis, Onsite coordination and interfaces with different providers of signalling and telecom solutions, building designers (outsourcing) and civil contractors, PS&D (power supply and distribution) designers and MEP contractors.
Responsibilities Supervise the buildings’ MEP activities from conception to completion on daily basis Provide technical advices to subcontractors regarding MEP activities Monitor on-site MEP works to monitor compliance with MEP drawing , specifications, local and safety regulations Monitor and follow the MEP workers and subcontractors Prepare daily progress report and sending it to Construction Manager Reporting any delay that might affect the execution schedule Ensure quality MEP standards and the use of proper installation techniques Report any Quality or EHS violations or concerns to the Quality & EHS inspectors on site Follow the coordination drawings and arrange with other subsystems in all overlapping activities Monitoring and tracking of any VO quantities and reporting it to the Construction Manager Education Qualifications & Skills: B. SC in (Mechanical-Power-Electrical) engineering with 2-4 years of proven working experience in MEP supervision Behavioral Competencies Good communication skills. Quick learner. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to manage multiple sites in parallel Ability to make decisions in a timely and correct manner. Analytical Technical Competencies & Experience This position Is Based in Minia - UPPER EGYPT 2-4 years of proven working experience in construction supervision Site Construction and arrangement Works Site Survey (Topography - GPS coordinates) Quantity SurveyLanguage Skills: Excellent command of Arabic and English (written/ spoken). French is an advantage Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and Supervise multiple sites in parallel Self-motivated, willing to learn new fields, and hard worker IT Skills: Excellent command of AutoCAD and Microsoft office package Location for the role?
