As Siemens Project Engineer you will support the project management with the qualified processing of purchase orders, deadline scheduling, logistics and documentation in the project. You will be also responsible for monitoring engineering tasks, successfully applies fundamental practices and procedures of particular areas. Building- up basic knowledge and broadens to whole scope of tasks and drive quality and improvements to minimize non-conformances. In charge for overall Project Schedule and for the Coordination of documentation flow In charge for reporting to Senior Project Manager / Project Manager Handling project administration tasks such as: Setting up, designing and administering the documentation system Setting up and handling the administrative infrastructure for the project team Supporting communication within the project Project reporting to the project manager Partly acting as Point of contact for client /consultant and project principals, agents and contractors. On Logistic side, you are Planning and coordinating logistics operations. Drawing up, summarizing and forwarding the associated documentation. Working towards maintaining the project time schedule taking design and engineering, civil and MEP works, subcontractors and other work activities into account. Recording and initiating purchase orders and monitoring the requirements accruing in a project to ensure timely and cost-effective service provision Supervise and support with project team the effective co-ordination of all project related activities. Feedback on continual improvement of project management process (Best Practice Sharing, Lesson Learnt, etc. ) Ensure at all times that assigned tasks are operated in line with the QA process and procedures, statutory, regulatory and EHS requirements. What do I need to qualify for this job? Engineering Degree of equivalent Technical qualification from reputable University / College 3-5 years diverse experience of order processing in product or project business. First work experience in core technical team member participating in engineering and/or commissioning activities Lead supporting role in the projects to the different supporting functions. Collaboration in international teams desirable Ideally you have a solid Knowledge of economics in project business: Established procedures for monitoring and control of financial aspects of project (e. g. project costing and reviewing); economic indicators (Scorecards) Excellent communication skills, Fluent level of English Team work mind-set, quality orientation and progressive way thinking What else do I need to know?
