About The Job

We are seeking to hire a Visual Merchandiser to position the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishings in your primary market area (PMA) in order to maximize sales and long-term profitability. Based on your knowledge of people’s life at home and home furnishing competence, You present and communicate the IKEA offer in ways that make it attractive and relevant to your local market. You will work to visualize the uniqueness of the IKEA product range within specialty shops, compacts, studios, the Self-serve furniture area, the Swedish Food Market and activities throughout the store to distance us from the competition. In addition to contributing to maximizing the impact of these store media in order to convert visitors into satisfied customers and stimulate repeat visits by creating vitality in all areas of the store throughout the year.

About You

As an Visual Merchandiser, you must have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or any relevant discipline with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. You have to be passionate about visual merchandising and have the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Sketchup is required.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills:
