As an Area Sales Manager, you will be part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division, based in Cairo. Robotics and Motion (RM) division offers a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry. As Area Sales Manager your responsibilities will be as follows: Responsible for delivery of the PG orders and end-2-end margins. Work closely with the respective BU regional sales manager and PG global sales manager to ensure that the budget requirements are met for the PG(s). Proactively anticipates and identifies shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial action with the LSU(s). Responsible for implementing the PG strategy. Assist with the front end budgeting process in the LSU(s) and ensure it is in line with PG’s expectations and is realistic.
Assist the PG global sales manager in price positioning for your product lines in the LSU(s) and provide front line price support to the LSU(s) to help them secure orders. Identify and evaluate opportunities with existing and potential new customers and channels in your LSU(s).
Executes customer acquisition plans in conjunction with BU regional and PG global sales managers. Support global frame agreements at respective LSU(s). Assist in the creation of monthly orders forecasts for the PG based upon SFDC pipeline and knowledge of LSU(s) opportunities for your PG.
Work with LSU(s) to support them in converting opportunities to orders on a daily basis.
Work with LSU’s to target the top opportunities to win this month / this quarter.
Ensure that the LSU’s have the right products at the right prices with the right lead-times to allow them to be successful.
Work with the PG global sales manager to correct if this is not the case. Work with PG global sales manager ensure we understand the top 3 competitors and how we can compete against them in the LSU(s).
Ideally you'll hold Bachelor Degree in Electrical Power Engineering with five to eight years of experience in related business and different cultures. Fluent in written and spoken English. And Experience in supporting front end sales operation.
