Supply Chain Operations Manager

Essential Duties

Actively monitor all changes and new developments in the external environment of customs and clearance Follow up the issuances by customs, imports and exports and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance timely. Put in place a structured continuous improvement approach Drive cost saving initiatives to improve the performance and costs on operation Focus on Process Improvement making sure that Key Performance Indicators are monitored Ensure the documentation compliance is attended on accuracy and timing of delivery/receipt to the receiving markets or from producing markets. Organize tenders supported by Procurement to select the most suitable service providers Have in place a structure which allows to have ongoing control on changes in Harmonized Tariff Systems, Trade agreements & Subsidies. Maintain knowledge, proficiency level, training and motivating the Import/Export team.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business 5-8 years of experience in a leadership role at Import/Export and Customs & Clearance Relevant operational experience in Demand & Supply Planning is a plus
