Alstom Transport with vast experience in the Rolling Stock, Signaling, and Infrastructure activities participated in the construction of Cairo Metro Lines (1, 2, and 3) with the renovation of the 52 Rolling Stock Units for line 1.

Also, Alstom served the Egyptian Railways market through delivering Engineering, Power Supply, Construction, Maintenance and Trainings of Signaling, Centralized Control and Infrastructure of railway projects such as Giza-Beni Suef, Beni Suef-Assuit, and Cairo-Alexandria lines.

Overall Purpose Of The Role

Management of Configuration and Requirements Processes during the Project Execution

Responsibilities

Review and support establishing the Project Documentation Management Plan (DMP) Ensure the correct usage of the Project Documentation Master List and support documentation resources on the application of DMP. Training the team on Documentation and Configuration tools. Preparation of Reports regarding the status of documentation and configuration. Establish and maintain the Project (Program) Configuration Management Plan (CMP) Establish and maintain the project (program) configuration management system (CM repository organization, access rights, etc.) and administers the project (program) configuration management tools. Provide a support to PrEM to maintain the complete TIS system configuration,including subsystem baseline integration Be the interfaces with domain/metiers leaders to ensure that sub-system baselines delivered to the PrEM are consistent. Create and publish baselines, participates in elaborating system safety delivery sheets (system baseline deliveries for tests on site) Monitor changes to baselines and establishes CCB reports Monitor the status of the Change Requests Deploy CM process to site teams for Installation, Test & Commissioning, Warranty and Maintenance. Provide AEC and CQ Modal support to PrEM, PrCOM, PrIM and PrWM to guarantee that tools are used with the good rules. Obtain the as-installed configuration and freeze in the Configuration tool. Establish and maintain the Project Requirement Management Plan (RMP) Execute the proper implementation of the requirements management process at SYSTEM and coordinate with subsystem levels throughout the whole project lifecycle. Implement system requirements in Alstom Requirement Management tools Deliver a consolidate view regarding the management of system and sub-system requirements (capture, data base, traceability …) Support the identification and clarification the ‘grey areas’ that might be found in the requirements Ensure the operational traceability of all the requirements captured during the complete life of the project (design, manufacture, installation and testing and validation phases). Assess and report the level of coverage of the requirements managed through this process throughout the project life. Prepare regular consolidated reporting and dashboard regarding requirement management

Qualifications & Skills

EDUCATION: University degree in Engineering (Electrical or Communications Engineering)

Behavioral Competencies

Technical Competencies & Experience

Minimum 3 Years of Experience preferred in (Railways, power stations, business and commercial centers…) Ability to manage Multiple (Sub) Contractors with high level of reporting and claims' skill External recognition /accreditation are an added value.Language Skills: Excellent command of Arabic and English (written/ spoken). French is an advantage Excellent presentation, communication, and analytical skills IT Skills: computer literacy Location for the role? Travel? Cairo, Travel within Egypt
