Minimum Relevant work experience: 3 to 5 years working experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, or related areas.

Nestlé is currently looking for Channel Manager who will be responsible for the development of the Channel agenda within the market to deliver long-term growth, profitably and increase market share through ensuring the effective planning, monitoring, and execution of trade activities within assigned channel.

A day in a Life……

  • Works with the Category team members to define the activity tactics that deliver channel growth objectives (price, promotion, placement, product, POP-Point of Purchase)
  • Recommend actionable in-store solutions based on a clear understanding on shopper behavior within assigned channel.
  • Work with category teams to ensure coordinated, cross-category, executable approach.
  • Works and supports Head of CDT (Channel Development Trade) on all brand/channel related inputs for the Monthly Sales Review meetings.
  • Responsible for tactical activities like Numerical Selling, RTD & Billing and Shopper Execution
  • Identifying cost saving initiatives, waste reduction and tools to achieve improvements.
  • Responsible for BSO (Best Standard and Out) coverage and Channel growth.
  • Responsible for activity development for Neighborhood Stores, Open Market and Modern Trade channels
  • Manages POPM (Point of Purchase Material) specific to the channel

What Will Make You Successful?

  • University degree in Management, Business Administration and Social Sciences.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience in agriculture or related areas.
  • Capability to lead and convince others.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office( especially Word ,PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Ability to manage external relations and relate comfortably with clients and agents.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Experience in FMCG will be an advantage
