Petrofac is recruiting a Mechanical Technician based on the Cygnus platform on a 2/3 rotation

Cygnus is a new Natural Gas field development, with a field of life equal to 30 years, located 150 kilometres off the coast of Lincolnshire within the UKCS Southern North Sea (North) segment. The central production/processing and accommodation facility consists of three bridge linked platforms (Alpha complex) with a second satellite wellhead platform (Bravo) located approximately 7 km NW of Alpha.

The Role

We are recruiting a staff Mechanical Technician for the Cygnus platform on a 2/3 rotation mobilising from Norwich. This role will participate as part of an integrated maintenance team, responsible to execute mechanical maintenance works.

Specific Duties Include

Undertaking routine inspection, servicing & adjustment of equipmentSupporting performance and condition monitoring and assessmentReviewing issued maintenance work orders and ensure all required preparations are fully undertaken before commencement of worksCommunicating with production operations personnel for Start-up and Shut-down of mechanical rotating equipmentUndertaking planned and corrective maintenance on all Mechanical equipment, ensuring all works are carried out fully in compliance and conformance company proceduresSupporting installation and commissioning of new equipment as requiredPreparing comprehensive activity records and logs in CMMS

Candidates must have previous offshore experience in the oil & gas industry working as a Mechanical Technician. The successful individual must have a relevant Mechanical qualification at ONC level or equivalent.
