Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Global & Theater Work Group Leaders & peers to contribute to the strategy & thought leadership for the Work Group

• Responsible for defining & driving discipline strategy & Work Group activities within the respective discipline area

• Collaborate in the creation of the career path for member resources

• Drive standards, methodologies, tools & training, for discipline

• Collaborate with SPLs to ensure delivery readiness for PS offerings and products, for discipline

• Plan for future skill development & capacity, for discipline

• Assist with qualifying and develop delivery partners, for discipline

• Jointly evaluate and set goals for discipline

• Jointly attract talent & hire with Theater & Practice mgrs

Experience and Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience

• Proven experience as Partner or Executive in technical IT Services

• Demonstrates mastery of operating in complex, matrix environment

• Strong track record of delivering results and managing theater level distributed groups

Critical Success Factors

• Solid collaboration and partnership with Global & Theater Work Group Leaders, peers, and delivery organization

• Strong interaction with the Portfolio and SPL teams and must have a seat at the table with these groups for respective discipline

• Leverages EMC talent to develop, promote and implement strategy and vision which has to be clearly articulated to the discipline delivery members

• Executive presence; ability to influence Theater and Work Group leads, sales/pre-sales, engineering, etc.

• Recognized as subject matter expert in knowledge management (internally & externally)

Education Required: Bachelors (Technical)

Experience Required: Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years management experience.
