Application Specialist Middle East & Africa Job ID #: 6251 Location: Cairo, Egypt   Functional Area: Sales Employment Type: Regular Full-Time Duration: unlimited

Position Description            

- Technical support: provide equipment demos, support customer and commercial partner throughout product lifecycle and provide product training as needed (eg, setting up instruments, training, troubleshoot and solve problems

- Supporting other specialists and representatives and developing tactical plans. Responsible for full range of product portfolio

- Planning: Plan and achieve objectives, key performance indicators for commercial partners’ business

- Business/Markets development: Drive and initiate development of new business opportunities and references for equipment and reagent.

- Customer focus: Maintain and develop relationships with commercial partners, key customers and references.  Increase customer satisfaction

- Information systems: Utilize the CRM database to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness “in front of” the customer and aid sales.

- Communication: Organization of meetings/communication channels to ensure effective communication across commercial partners and business units            Position Requirements           

- Minimum education:  Bachelor of Science, PhD or equivalent experience

- Minimum 2.5+ years sales experience.

- Proven track record (OTE) or laboratory experience

- Proven experience of relevant laboratory techniques manipulation and protein expression

- Knowledge of relevant markets        Personal Requirements          

- Excellent communication skills at all business levels

- Willingness to travel (80%)
