Presales Senior System Engineer
Job Description
- Respond to day-to-day RFPs, by doing an initial assessment to select products and/or solutions against the competition, then prepare the technical and financial offer.
- Contact suppliers for validation of technical solutions and pricing requests.
- Support System Engineers by assessing and revising offers in strategic and complicated SI solutions and projects.
- Validate technical solutions and products ordering process of won projects and help Project Management in solution implementation.
- Prepare & conduct Life Demos for Customers on new Security or Enterprise Management Solutions Technologies.
Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Communication, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 4 years of relevant presales experience.
- Horizontal knowledge of different IT solutions (Network, security, Hardware, Data Center, Enterprise Management or Computing, Integrated low current offerings, Voice & Multimedia Solutions).
- Vertical knowledge of one of the IT solutions – examples below:
- Hands-on experience in Network or security products, Routing & Switching, Wireless, Voice, Unified communication, Contact Center & Self Services/IVR, Videoconference/Tele Presence, Video Surveillance, Servers (Blade & Rack mounted) & Storage SAN/NAS.
- Certification from a well-known vendor: McAfee, Juniper, Fortinet, HP ArcSight, Symantec, Cisco (CCNP, CCDP, CCDA or CISSP ) Security, UCS, VMware, CITRIX, Oracle Hardware, EMC .
- Multi-vendor experience, customer relation management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
