Associate Planner - Survey & Inspection

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The role of Associate Planner – Survey & Inspection situated within the Offshore Crewing department is to assist in the management of all aspects of planning the Survey & Inspection crews.  Such that they maintain and supply a constant source of qualified, skilled, and competent personnel to meet demand and to meet the needs of the various stakeholders.

This is a 6 month contract position based out of our Westhill office.

Role and Responsibilities

The key accountabilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

  • Assist Survey & Inspection Planners with the planning and execution of the deployment personnel in line with strategic manning models, engaging as necessary with territory operations, vessel management.
  • Engage with L & D function on training and competency requirements for the pool.
  • Ensure that all personnel are in possession of the necessary current certification required for their discipline/position.
  • Responsible for adhering to hire process for contractor personnel
  • Maintain a clear structure of roles and responsibilities within each team.
  • Ensure that all Offshore Crewing systems are accurately updated in a timely manner
  • Request PPE for offshore crew as necessary
  • General administration duties.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Role relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Practical understanding of the Offshore Energy industry including the processes required to mobilise and travel personnel to international offshore worksites.
  • Understanding of the technical aspects within the allocated pools and the competencies/training required for offshore roles within them.
  • Experience in compiling reports for management is advantageous
  • IT literate including the MS Office suite and database systems.
