Job Description



Main Accountabilities:



1. Partner with HR and business leaders to develop proactive and positive employee and labor relations strategies and initiatives that drive business objectives.

2. Coach Line Managers and HR Business Partners in disciplinary and grievance processes.

3. Ensure timely reporting for investigations within the Service Level Agreements.

4. Partner with Legal and Compliance team to ensure appropriate investigation of issues/ complaints and actions are taken accordingly.

5. Manage the formal investigation process including documentation for harassment, discrimination, ethical and conflict of interest complaints/issues and any others of a highly sensitive nature.

6. Handle speak ups Routine/ Referrals cases within his/her area in a timely manner.

7. Researche current and potential labor relations problems, opportunities and evaluates their impact within his/her area.

8. Proactively evaluate potential employment law or policy compliance gaps based on a thorough understanding of the company's obligations, and take action to address those gaps, consulting legal experts as appropriate.

9. Advice and train managers and supervisors to help ensure that all employer-employee relationships in the organization are conducted in a way that complies with relevant collective agreements, individual employment contracts, regulations, laws, and the organization's employment policies and standards.

10. Employee Relations Advisors to identify trends and improve Employee Relations policies and processes with clear audit trails.

11. Serve as an expert in the associate relations center of excellence and evaluate the efficiency and implementation of current programs, making suggestions for changes as appropriate.



Requirements for the role:



1. Bachelor's degree with minimum 3 years of progressive experience within employee relations issues.

2. Good computer skills Microsoft office.

3. Good verbal and written communication skills (English and Arabic).

4. Deep knowledge of labor and social insurance laws.

5. Proven experience in complex disciplinaries and grievances issues.

6. Understand the appetite and tolerance for risk for the Group and its businesses.

7. Ability to analyze operational efficiency scenarios; develop, evaluate and implement solutions for productivity.

8. Good Complaints handling or customer service skills.
