Finance Manager

POSITION PURPOSE To be responsible for the accurate maintenance books of accounts and the related financial statements for Fetchr Egypt and to Comply with all legal requirements namely Income tax, Social Security, VAT and other taxes. Lead the audit of financial statements and ensure smooth running of Fetchr’s Cash On Delivery operations   POSITION DESCRIPTION To be responsible for the accurate maintenance books of accounts and the related financial statements for Fetchr Egypt and to Comply with all legal requirements namely Income tax, Social Security, VAT and other taxes. Lead the audit of financial statements and ensure smooth running of COD operations   REQUIRED SKILLS Must be responsible for the accounting operations of the entity including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls to enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results Must be able to maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures Advanced accounting and financial reporting knowledge Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Complete knowledge of VAT laws, Income Tax laws, Social Security laws Quick learner – Xero software knowledge preferred Intermediate Excel Knowledge Attention to detail Confidentiality Fluency in English   ADDITIONAL SKILLS / PROFESSIONAL CHARACTERISTICS The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience for a company or division of a large corporation in Egypt. Preference will also be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.
