Job Description

Develop leadership and strategic direction for the function and purchasing of all indirect goods and services. Develop effective communications, consultations and participation in developing effective working practices within the procurement function Conduct the review of the current activities, processes and procedures in place to manage the flow of supplies and evaluate their effectiveness Manage the market analysis process to gain a deeper understanding of the market environment in which suppliers operate Identify strengths and weaknesses in the flow of supplies and aim to identify areas that could jeopardize the successful delivery of the supply chain strategy Evaluate the procurement systems used within ABC and evaluate their effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement Evaluate the benchmark standards of practice for information collection with other Heineken OpCos and use the evaluation to improve the information strategy for the supply chain Obtain information required to complete negotiations for the acquisition of goods and services at a range of levels and values Align with the buyers on the negotiations strategies to achieve the objectives of the organization Enforce the professional and ethical way during all negotiation related activities according to the approved purchasing code of conduct Ensuring the contract goes through the appropriate internal channels (legal, business process owner, etc..) within the organization and ensure that the contract complies with the relevant legal requirements locally and internationally, where appropriate Establish a selection criteria for suppliers that can be applied to any supplier selection process and that show that the overall requirements of the supply chain has been taken into account Assess the capacity and capability of suppliers to ensure that they can effectively work as part of the supply chain, including an assessment of their strategic fit with the organization. Evaluate how supplier development activities can support the ongoing management of supplier performance and aid continuous development within the process and if there is a willingness of the supplier to engage Establish measures and Key Performance Indicators for suppliers to achieve against, monitoring their performance at frequent and agreed intervals Identify and evaluate the different categories of procurement spend within the organization and distinguish them from expense items Determine alternative pricing strategies for ABC to use in undertaking category spend within the organization and show how they will be utilized Establish and develop strong working relationships with internal customers and 3rd party providers to ensure that the quality of service provision are consistently managed and challenged to meet agreed Service Level Agreements

Education, Certifications and Licenses: Master degree in Business, financial, commercial, economical or Engineering, discipline Qualifications in procurement e.g. Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply or CPIM or CSCP is a plus   Knowledge and Experience: More than 8 years management experience, of which Significant experience in managing the Indirect procurement category in international environment, preferably in FMCGs Multicultural experience, with advanced ERP systems, e.g. SAP   Skills and Abilities: Excellent analytical skills Strong Leadership skills Independent Critical and challenging when needed Very well organized and structural approach to track and solve problems Details and quality oriented Excellent Persuasion and Negotiation skills Excellent Communication skills Pro-active and self starter Team work oriented
