Central Planning Engineer
Job Description
Job Description•Prepare central reports for consolidated projects progress reports.
•Update the Units’ Database status and details.
•Prepare & update PHD overall master schedule.
•Collect monthly data & prepare the overall monthly reports.
•Prepare monthly progress, sales & Handing Over layouts.
•Highlight and identify the causes of delay of the project(s).
•Report the status of the project(s) to support decision making.
•Perform earned value management & critical path method to monitor the progress of the project(s).
•Perform BIM related tasks for activities.
•Participate in enhancing BIM unit process & output.
•Audit and review 3D models in Autodesk Revit from consultants and contractors.
•Manage / Update BIM Project Documents.
•3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification.
•4D scheduling / 5D Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks. Skills•Knowledge in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD.
•Knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
•Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
•Experience with Primavera P6.
•BIM knowledge and interest in working with construction technology.
•Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
•Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
•Self-motivated and able to take responsibility.
•Resilience to cope with dynamic demands, able to prioritize duties and work effectively under pressure while remaining calm and professional at all times.
•Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactive approach to daily tasks.
•Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from Civil or Construction Engineering
Work Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience
