The chosen candidate for this rle will have the chance to have overall responsibility for customer-service, supply-chain, warehousing, physical distribution and transportation, managed under Medtronic Egypt. Contract manager of a 3rd party logistics provider for warehousing and transportation within Egypt. Member of the local Medtronic management team.
A Day in the Life
We offer you a position where you will be :
Responsible for operational distribution functions (both internal and outsourced) within Egypt to assure required in- and outbound flow of all Medtronic products at a high quality level, with high delivery reliability and with continuous productivity improvement. Responsible for designing and implementing improved process and operational policies. Initiates and drives changes to processes or services to fulfill customer needs Manage the import-process to ensure correct and quick customs clearance and adhere to local regulations regarding
Must Haves
5+ years management experience in Supply Chain and/or Customer Service. 5+ years’ experience in driving Operational Excellence process improvements. Knowledge of Egyptian Customs Clearance procedures Proven change management skills. Master degree in Business Administration, Operations, and/or Logistics.
Nice to haves
Blackbelt in Lean or Six Sigma Experience within a US multinational Experience in a matrix organization Knowledge of order management processes Experience within the life-sciences- , Medical Device- or Pharma-Industry
