*** This is a location flexible role within Asia, Middle East and North Africa. The incumbent selected for this role will continue to be based out of their current location. ***



Based out of one of our offices for Asia, Middle East and North Africa, you will be responsible for developing and sustaining standardized capability for all logistics operations AMENA sector. The scope of work will include Facility layout and flow optimization, labor management, transportation asset efficiency, peak season capacity strategies and standardized performance management. The role will also be the primary sector point for driving 7%+ AOP move productivity across all operations



Key accountabilities for the role include:

* Lead the qualification and deployment of Global logistics best practice tools to all applicable AMENA markets

* Lead deployment of Warehouse Affordability framework to qualify mechanization and automation opportunities for applicable sites.

* Own the warehouse and transport deep dives process, continuously improving the process, executing aligned deep dives and governing execution of action plans.

* Develop formal Logistics Expert capability framework , including content and certification program and lead roll out of the program across the sector

* Coaching and development of Region LD&T leads, field logistics managers and new field Logistics Experts.

* Serve as sector lead to enable 7%+ annual productivity for the logistics spend, ensuring best practice tools and deep dive results are built into plans and providing adhoc support to fill gaps.

* Own logistics performance management for the sector, including evolution of standardized KPIs, field data compliance and leading insights and benchmarking.

* Partner with Global Procurement to define and incorporate operational standards and efficiency parameters in 3PL contracts and supports to audit and sustain capability.



Qualifications / Requirements Skills, Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or Mathematical Sciences (i.e. Operations Research)

* 8+ years experience in transport and warehouse operations, with at least 5 years in PepsiCo field operations.

* Experience with both PepsiCo Food and Beverage operations

* FMCG logistics experience in a high volume shipping environment

* Experience implementing gTMS and delivering business benefits

* Experience implementing WMS and delivering business benefits

* Operational or project experience with warehouse automation solutions

* Experience in transportation fleets in a dedicated or owned operation, with proven expertise leading innovation and operational efficiency agenda.
