Senior Financial Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:





Core Job Responsibilities:

Assist FP&A Manager in preparation and monitoring of Plans, LRP and LBEs, monthly analysis and reporting to Area, Division, Corporate and local management.

Provide affiliate management team with monthly financial reporting package for consolidated international commercial financial results.

Assist in financial evaluation of future business opportunities & impact of risks.

Provide financial analysis and support to Sales Director & General Manager on strategic planning, budgeting & monitoring.

Affiliate expenses planning, performance monitoring and variance analysis

Identify, analyze and monitor issues that affect profitability, growth and productivity.

Preparing key management reports, highlighting risks and opportunities and preparing contingency plans.

Streamlining processes and identifying opportunities for savings across all departments.

Analysis/interpretation of monthly results and liaison with functional groups to determine future exposures against current benchmark and identify opportunities.

Analyze and review monthly results (accounts) and develop commentary in conjunction with countries’ commercial team as to variations to benchmarks for all Product Divisions.

Consolidate and report to Area the monthly reports as required as per Area monthly calendar

Special projects as directed by the Finance Director and General Manager.

Prepare profitability analysis for strategic acceleration projects.

Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by management.

Education/Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (major in Finance or accounting).

MBA, CPA, CMA or CFA is an advantage.

Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in budgeting and planning.

Advanced level Excel spreadsheet experience & macros.

Multi-national exposure.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

An eye for detail

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Ability to complete assignments under tight deadlines.
