Position Summary A World Kitchen Lean Architect (LA) is an operations and change management leader fully responsible for the deployment of the Lean Transformation Program. Lean Architect is responsible for enabling local management teams to: achieve the successful operations transformation, deliver the operational improvements and sustain a high-performing Lean culture Primary Responsibilities Develop the Lean transformation plan Develop own and build the Lean capabilities of the staff including Passion for transformation Technical abilities and analytical skills Lean & Six Sigma knowledge Leadership and management skills Adaptability Impact focus Influencing Training Presentation Skills Master the Lean/Six Sigma tools namely 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Factory, OEE, TPM, center lining, standard work, and others Apply the above tools to the facility Team with site’s leadership to communicate tools to achieve lean objectives Develop and maintain distinctive lean and transformation knowledge Develop and maintain cost reduction programs As the lean architect he/she will be responsible for training and development of other leaders in order to create self-sustaining “lean” culture Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is required (Master in Engineering degree is strongly preferred) 10+ years of experience and demonstrated performance in the above stated skills and proven experience and record implementing “lean” manufacturing systems. Experience in glass based “lean” program is highly desirable. Certification in Six Sigma green belt or higher is desirable.
