Job Description

Provides software related custom integration and implementation support of EMC products at customer sites involving unique environments and configurations; this may include pre-site inspection, initial installation, troubleshooting, implementation, customization, integration, and product orientation for the customer.Installs EMC products and performs moderately complex and/or extended-stay software implementations. Demonstrate system capabilities, review software operation and management tools, and provide information to customer concerning the operation and use of EMC products.Work on portfolio of Cloud Infrastructure Software which includes –but not limited to- ViPR SRM, SAS, SMARTS, ViPR Controller, ECS, Isilon.Provides proactive recommendations to the customer for improving their use of EMC storage solutions to help maximize their satisfaction with EMC. Actively contributes to the configuration, layout and performance tuning of EMC products.Provides the design and the implementation of the DELLEMC product to suit customer requirements.Provides assistance to EMC technical teams in the development of custom solutions and implementation preparation.Contributes to the development of strategies, policies and best practices through participation in management meetings and other direct contributions. Develops and cultivates strong customer relationships ensuring a ''Customers for Life'' relationship. Adheres to proper escalation and change control procedures, Prepares, maintains and submits activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports in accordance with published procedures.Stays current on technical specifications for hardware/software requirements of EMC and industry products and solutions through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars
