iOS Developer

EMBER Medical, a multinational digital health startup, is looking for a passionate and highly skilled iOS developer to join our fast-growing development team.

Interested candidates must have a strong understanding of all iOS fundamentals, architecture components, and best practices. You will be responsible for spearheading our existing iOS platform from development to deployment, including scaling and expanding the design, modification, development, and implementation processes to ensure flawless app quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

• Document development processes codes to record and facilitate the work for other mobile developers.

• Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. 

• Work with graphic designers and software developers to build, test and release applications. 

• Implement server APIs to support planned mobile functionality.

• Possesses strong communication skills with the ability to delegate projects to a team of people.

Key Skills:

• 2+ years experience in iOS development

• Swift 5.0 programming language

• Apple’s Xcode IDE

• Frameworks and APIs like Foundation, UIKit, and CocoaTouch

• Apple Human Interface Guidelines

• A Git code repository technology

• Familiarity with RXSwift and Real time databases (Firebase)

• Proficiency in English to communicate with our diverse customer base.
