Main Purpose:

The purpose of this job is to Lead Seasoning & Ingredient Category across PepsiCo Snack Food Operating Companies in MENA region, managing within the MENA Food Ingredients lead and Sector seasoning lead organization a total spend of $68MM.Develop and execute the different category strategies: Risk Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Innovation and Productivity Measuring and Improving Performance.Achieving Annual Plans and Delivering Productivity.Works on delivering growth over PepsiCo Strategic Plan (PSP)

Accountabilities:

Support (in close collaboration with the MENA GP leadership) implementation of the MENA-wide Procurement vision, mission and strategy.Manage Seasoning & Food Ingredient categories on a regional level leveraging PepsiCo's Operations (OpCo's) footprint in MENA.Work closely with GP Ingredients lead and sector lead : Plan and monitor categories' annual and long-term strategic sourcing targetsPlan and monitor sourcing Productivity / Savings (for the current year and over PSP).Lead improvement initiatives from procurement side for categories in scopeEvaluate & evolve sourcing strategies based on changing market conditions and provide inputs during strategic sourcing activities, including internal and external analysis and negotiations.Closely liaise with main business stakeholders.Sell Procurement to business stakeholders; represent MENA's GP function internally (peer level) and externally (suppliers)Ensure implementation of best-in-class sourcing methods and tools.Lead contract negotiations with suppliers on local and regional levels.Execute MENA's procurement strategy through governing the development of the category sourcing strategies around Business Continuity Plan (BCP)(supply security) , Value engineering and Commodity Cost (CC) productivity and value enhancement. Supports timely launch of innovations.Support PepsiCo's Health & Wellness agenda.Responsible on Local /Global/Outside/ Regional Supplier Relationship Management.Own Seasonings scope for FOREX Funding to Egypt through Pep-tradeDevelop Pipeline Productivity to ensure delivery of Annual Operating Plan (AOP).Work closely with Finance Planning and ensure tracking of all projects and timely reporting Power Steering

Key Skills/Experience Required

Min 7 years of experience in FMCG Sourcing / Procurement/Supply ManagementFood Ingredients Materials Sourcing Experience is preferred.Experience in a regional procurement function/ companyStrategic sourcing experience handling multiple countriesSkilled in managing a dispersed team of business stakeholders in different countriesGo-To-Person on Performance Metrics, and Best Practices around Metrics.Bachelor's degree in commerce and Materials Mgt.Multinational & multilingual experience is preferred.Ability to work cross-functionally, cross-geographically and across multiple culturesExperience in using and implementing advanced sourcing methodologies, IT-systems, tools and technologiesSkilled in managing across a dispersed team of business stakeholders; must have strong selling skillsAnalytical Experience in defining and creating procurement reports & dashboards
