Position Retail Services Manager Country Egypt Location Cairo Job descriptionWith the new digital era of Market Research, Retail Services manager is the link for digitalizing our source of information from the retailers. This role brings together retailer knowledge and a high level of service to become an indispensable partner with these retailers. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and use these to truly understand retailers businesses and challenges. They will be able to drive engagement through actionable insight and innovative solutions. Clients Maintaining a good relationship with Key accounts and helping them in their day to day requirements. Retail Conflict resolution Management Understanding and interpreting market trends and having frequent presentations and meetings with key retailers. Excellent client relationship to grow client base and also propose solutions. Maintain retailers’ confidentiality at all time and maintain a trustworthy relationship with them. Responding to clients complaints timely and be proactive in meeting for clients to depend on GfK. Agency Relationship Management People Strategy Communication across the teams Ensure targets across the regions are met and train on new products. Share experiences with the team for their development. Financial Promoting and selling Retail products with perspective clients. Selling POS data and also Internet products to generate sustainable revenues. New services like Named Account Data, Retail Analytics, Shopping monitor and other services to be commercialized with the retailers. Identification of new opportunities for revenue gain Process GfK Retail strategy implementation. Applying processes for Client Reports and periodic updates of the reports with the latest trends. Maintaining Retail Agreements and filing the same in respective location in Soft and Hard copy in co-ordination with Retail Executive. Constant co-ordination with commercial team to understand new requirement from the retail or operational side.Implementation of market summary reports for each country along with the team to help market understanding and feedback for the commercial Teams. In addition the role is responsible for Quality Checks and control of panel Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring local competitors. Retail panel relationship management presentation, query and handling retailers concerns. Retail Panel demarcation- route plans and extent covered Evaluating retail staff Agency Relationship Management Establishment of new retail panels in countries within the region Analysing and interpreting market trends to facilitate planning; Using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning; ​ Requirements High presentation skills and experience in similar role  Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoints.  Excellent language Skills in English.  Good experience in working with retailers and understanding their requirements.  Hands on experience on DWH for providing basic charts for the team.​ About usTake your future into your own hands.
