Dar Al-Handasah Consultants (Shair and Partners) - www.dar.com - are currently seeking to recruit a QA/ QC ENGINEER - MATERIALS  to join their offices in Cairo.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up the type, number and frequency of tests required and define the acceptance criteria
  
• Overview that the required tests are performed in the set number and frequency
  
• Manage and review of selective on-site and off-site inspection
  
• Overview the laboratory technicians for the operation of all sampling and testing works
  
• Overview that the testing procedures are properly implemented
  
• Overview the test results and direct the necessary action in case of failing tests
  
• Identify and compile the list of defects
  
• Overview the Quality Plans submitted by the Construction Contractor and reviewed by the Designers
  
• Overview the implementation of the Quality Control procedures by the Construction Contractors
  
• Participate in the preparation of the monthly progress reports
  
• Report on the various quality aspects in the project

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  
• Minimum 15 years of experience
  
• Proficiency in MS Office
  
• Very good command of the English language
