Pre Sales Consultant – VMware/Virtualization/HCI

Redington Value Distribution in Egypt is hiring...!!   Position: Pre Sales Consultant – VMware/Virtualization/HCI Location: Cairo, Egypt     Responsibilities   The Pre Sales Consultant coordinates technical pre-sales activities. Transfers industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills. Assists in all levels of technical account planning and accompanies sales account managers on visits to customers.   You'll use your technical expertise, passion for open source, and understanding of business processes and IT problems to help your customers invest in and build an infrastructure that runs faster and more efficiently.   Product presentation/demonstration
Support with technical qualification
Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information or a Request for Proposal
Build custom demos
Deliver Proof Of Concepts
Offer post-sales support
Support customer events
Gain a detailed understanding of customers so as to become their trusted advisor, uncover their needs, establish value propositions, generate winning solutions and manage cross-selling and up-selling activities.
Position ourselves as the supplier of choice, grow a pipeline of qualified tactical and strategic opportunities and close business.
Provide any technical input needed for proposals
Be able to position and present various product offerings
Account mapping and pipeline management (Resellers, end customers)
The anticipated split of the Pre Sales Consultant’s time will be 70% on Pre Sales, 30% on delivery.
    Qualifications   Knowledge of the following: Sales & Process, Production of RFP’s and technical responses, Production of Bill of materials Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
Consultancy skills, combining the ability to seek understand customer issues and requirements whilst delivering solutions that address these.
Facilitation of design workshops Strong self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative
Should be able to work on minimum supervision
Take responsibility and see the deliverables are met  
Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly Good knowledge of VMware NSX, Horizon, VSAN Good Knowledge of HCI solutions ( VxRail – Nutanix – Pivot3 … etc) God Knowledge of Data protection solutions is a plus Knowledge of enterprise solutions and architectures, e.g., cloud, big data, virtualization, storage
