Job Description

As a Senior Service Engineer, you will drive sales, develop business and manage relationships with customers to maximize profitable growth for ABB Service. Act as a mentor to the less experienced team members in Sales team.Your main responsibilities in this role will include: Market AnalysisContributing to update market intelligence on customers’ structure and knowledge, potential, opportunities, competition, price levels, macro and micro economics.MarketingDeveloping business through market research and early identification of service opportunities.Using BU approved sales tool to track and monitor future service opportunities.Giving feedback on portfolio gaps and future customer needs to support the R&D processes.Building and maintaining a lead and opportunity pipeline.Sales planningParticipating in the demand side budgeting process.Understanding customer needs and identifying opportunities.Pursuing and building business and customer relationships through proactive selling.Promoting and selling the full portfolio of service offerings to identified customers.Performing account management tasks as required.SalesVisiting customers and building up a lead and opportunity pipeline.Using BU approved quotation tool for Service offerings. Presenting and actively following up on quotations to secure business.Utilizing all opportunities to sell additional services to customers.Ensuring price quality.Tracking and monitoring quotations (volume on offers, won-lost analysis, provide feedback on offers to the BU, price-analysis by customer and service product, etc).Achieving sales order volume in line with agreed team and personal targets.Post SalesAttending and contributing in risk reviews.Ensuring the collection of cash and contribute to avoid overdue payments.Ensuring customer satisfaction during / after deliveries.Continuing support to customers and follow up on further service requirements.As the ideal candidate, you should have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in an Electrical/ Mechanical engineering with 3-5 years’ Service or Industrial Sales experience. Good knowledge in contract and risk management coupled with knowledge of ABB health and safety procedures. Ability to find innovative solutions to meet customer service requirements. Proficiency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.If you are interested to join our team, apply directly.
