Sr. Project Manager – Cairo base Fluent Arabic speaking US Citizens OnlyRef: NM/15478The CompanyDigby Morris’ client is a General Contractor with over 30 years of construction experience. The company specializes in US federally funded turnkey projects in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for the overall success, safety, and timely completion of any of the company’s ongoing and future construction projects. Based in Cairo but with regular travel around the MENA region, the Sr. Project Manager will plan and manage project construction activities and schedules and provide technical consultation to project teams, government agencies and clients. Requires 12-15 years of project management experience on large commercial construction projects ($50M+); knowledge of scheduling and organization techniques; must possess excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills; must be authorized to work in the United States and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance and willingness to work overseas. Requires an Engineering Bachelor’s degree as well as previous experience with OBO/Embassy and/or US Government overseas contracts. Knowledge, Experience, and Special Skills RequiredMust be authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain a U.S. Security clearance (Secret Clearance required).Four (4) year technical or engineering degree (or equivalent advanced degree) plus extensive experience in the management of construction segments.  Advanced knowledge of the construction industry and company operations required.
