As the Planning Specialist, you will be a part of the Country Marketing and Sales Division function based in Cairo, Egypt. You will be responsible for accurate order processing to ensure customer satisfaction, complying with schedules and rules determined by ABB.
Tasks Your main responsibilities in this role will include: 1. Order planning and processing for ensuring that customers receive accurate and timely delivery of Products, systems, or service. 2. Ensuring efficient and accurate input of customer orders into order management system. 3. Informing customers about production/system/service status based on inputs and clarify any questions regarding orders. 4. Archiving all documentation related to transportation and delivery to the customer in line with local regulations (on the ERP system). 5. Following orders from registration up to delivery according to order and delivery conditions (end-to-end process) 6. Collecting all documentation needed to comply with local regulations and create the documentation for the credit and debit notes. Assist with the pick-up and delivery of products to foreign customers. 7. Executing defined procedures for missing or defective products ensuring efficient resolution and effective customer communication. Review order’s modification and cancelation on SAP every week by order registration report. 8. Background of issuing all type of letter of grantee (LGs) & letter of bank credit (LCs) and follow up with financial department and bank its related documentation up to closing. 9. Reviewing the contract with financial and legal Down Payment (DP), sign it and deliver it to the customer. 10. Sending weekly updated finished goods (F. G) to customer and follow up with them to Deliver their F. G. 11. Following customer complaints, solve problems until customer satisfaction is achieved and coordinating with different internal teams in order to ensure the complete handling of the request (e. g. scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists and invoice). 12. Following on time delivery (OTD) for the order handling process, reports, KPIs and targets. 13. Acting as point of contact for internal as well as external enquiries by phone and email. 14. Preparing and analyzing regular statistics using respective tools and collecting relevant information. 15. Tracking regular target achievement and provide results to management.
Requirements As the ideal candidate, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accountancy or any higher degree with minimum 2-5 years of experience in order handling or planning, project management in a multinational company and experience in logistics and shipping in many different countries (Europe and African countries). You must have full knowledge for the custom clearance documents and process them in many countries. SAP knowledge or ERP system, order handling process is also desired along with customer and Material Master data-created DN, order acknowledgment, goods receipt, invoice receipt up to warehousing. Proficiency in both spoken and written English and French language is required.
