About The Job Event Budget / Management: Create and prepare events budget, plan and coordinate the activities to coincide with important milestones of the project; the development program; and major festivals and events. Present the budget for approval, and subsequent to approval, administer it with the objective of utilizing the resources in the most effective manner. Responsible for the preparation, implementation, delivery and management of events team (made up internal staff, consultants and external contractors) for scheduled public and corporate eventsoptimizing PR exposure and related advertising and promotion opportunity during that period Creative Events Approach Continuously identify new and creative event ideas in line with key marketing objectives for the mall/as per marketing plan. Identify key sponsors (in tandem with speciality leasing department), suppliers, research entertainment opportunities, and carry out cost benefit analysis to weigh the potential opportunity in terms of the cost involved, and the return on investment, as well as achievement of business objective, for presentation & approval. Multi-Media Production/Video Productions: Together with the marketing communications manager work on producing top quality video productions for events/corp events to be used at exhibitions, internally, on Youtube and for award submissions. Maintaining Relationship: 3 rd Parties/Suppliers/Government Entities. Represent the company as a key liaison with outside parties in order to yield maximum exposure and leverage for the company in such forums. Gather and maintain good external contacts with suppliers, government bodies and involved companies in order to source the best opportunities for Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate. Seek new & innovative partnerships Manage and qualify suppliersEvent Promotion and Communication Checking, directing and replying to events related to enquiries within 24-hours of receipt. Manage the pre-promotion of the event, working with the digital and marketing comms team to ensure deadlines are met Manage all signage and promotional materials for the event, working to brief agency, costings and delivery onsite. Work with marketing brand team on sign offs Contracts & Government Permissions Work closely with the legal Department to secure all the relevant permits & contracts required for all events are applied Retailer Coordination Work on and continuous updates for retailer database to facilitate fast and effective retailer communication on an on-going basis. Approach retailers for participation in events/campaign Events Administration And Reporting Preparing and presenting post event analysis completed for each event Manage event budget and critically assess deliverables and stock Ensure the events calendar is updated daily Ensure pictures (& videography if required) are taken for every major event Monthly events report Yearly events report Keep track of events inventory with operations team as per Audit requirements Tourism Together with the Marketing team work on an annual tourism plan for CFCM. Work closely with retailers to implement a ‘special offers/promotions’ for hotel guests. Align CFCM with 2 to 3 key charities in-line with the positioning of the mall About You Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Diploma in Marketing or/ Events with 3-4 years in a well-established events management company, Mall or retailer in Egypt Retailer or Mall experience (preferred) Good knowledge of local marketing in terms of events/festivals/suppliers/agencies and companies engaged in events management Behavioural Competencies Team Player ‘Work as one team’ Communication & organizational skills Takes ownership, shows initiatives Resourceful and results driven “Can do approach “ Creative nature We’re here to provide excellent service but a little help from you can ensure a five-star candidate experience from start to finish.
