As a Service Sales specialist, you will be part of the Industrial Automation (IA) Division, and Control technologies (CT) business unit based in Cairo. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation division and delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.
Your Tasks as a Service Sales Specialist will include the following:
Prepare annual sales plans supported by solid sales pipeline targeting the increase of ABB Penetration on Own ABB Internal business. Map existing potential to continuously generate new business opportunities. Drive / Implement aggressive sales force across Vertical Industries. Take Customer Loyalty to new levels establishing long term strong relationships. Set winning strategies, margins and prices in cooperation with Bid & Proposal Team. Sell the IACT solutions & services full portfolio to Vertical Industries Customers in Egypt. Work closely with customers during budgeting and CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) planning phase to differentiate ABB. Target Competition IB with ABB Replacement and Upgrade Services. Pursue Large Scale Service Contracts and Jobs. Ensure expanding coverage in areas, customers and segments where ABB has no presence. Competition Analysis to sharpen ABB Sales Force and enhance our competitive edge in the market. Tune case by case sales approach and pricing strategies in line with opportunities mapping to keep customers engagement. Define record and archive service account plans for assigned accounts including player maps, contacts, risks, opportunities, Challenges and future investment plans. Match ABB Services Portfolio with customer requirements and ensure optimum services are proposed. Identify the most recommended & cost efficient services in cooperation with Bid & Proposal Team. Prepare accurate and optimized FCM’s (Futures Commission Merchant) in favor of securing strategic sales leads. Close and continuous follow up with customers and supporting functions, to ensure invoicing and collection on time. Achieve OR Target coupled with significant contribution to the fulfillment of the rest of Business Unit KPI’s. Improve NPS (Net Promoter Score) rating at customer base. Position ABB with Major Accounts.
Ideally you should have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Automation engineering with minimum 3-5 years’ of work experience in Industrial Automation or Application with Vertical Industries, along with Financial and Commercial Background. Proficiency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language, spoken French is required for the role.
