Position: Oracle Sales Manager Location: Cairo
We are looking to hire an Oracle Sales Manager in Redington’s Egypt office, which involves sales of Oracle products and solutions, which can be broadly classified under the following two main product categories, i.e. Oracle Hardware which includes the Servers, Storage & Engineered Systems and Oracle software which includes Oracle Cloud and on-Premise Applications, Middleware & Database (technology). The candidate should have min educational qualifications such as Bachelor Degree in Science or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
The Primary role will be to drive sales across Egypt markets.
Engage and build relationship with channel partners (VARs, ISVs)
Recruit and train new channel partners and enabling them to sell Oracle products.
Achieve the quarterly, half yearly and annual sales targets –both revenue and gross margins.
Manage each reseller partner account, provide credit facility and process orders.
Hunt for NEW opportunities/ expansions/ upgrades/ renewals.
Collect partner requirements, respond promptly to enquiries and propose solutions
Send quotes, close deals, process orders, follow up deliveries.
Responsible for managing the account receivables, including collection of over dues.
Establish and maintain relationship with partner’s key stake holders (top management).
Manage post sales issues including returns, warranty claims.
Launch sales activities for lead generations
Coordinate with marketing and product team for running sales promos and other developmental activities.
Min work experience and skills required are as below;
4-5 years sales experience with a leading VAD/ System Integrator in Egypt.
Should have a proven track record over achieving on sales targets, QonQ and YonY.
Currently working in an Account Manager role and having experience handling large corporates, public sector & government ministries or industries such as healthcare, hospitality, education, retail, manufacturing etc. or in a Channel Sales Manager role and managing a channel partner network for multiple vendors.
Should have a smart and mature personality, with good communication skills in Arabic & English (both oral and written)
Extremely high passion to succeed with lots of self-drive and motivation
Must be a “hunter” who can bring new Opportunities to the table, through a strong and reliable partner network.
Have good knowledge of the market with good contacts among VARs, ISVs, vendors and end customers...
Must have prior experience handling Oracle products and must have executed several deals for both HW & SW products.
Have good understanding of costing/ pricing process and have experience handling deal negotiations.
Must have clear understanding of margins, markups, working capital utilization, Days of sales outstanding etc.
